Pork chops, frozen green beans, frozen strawberries, oats, and more This week we continue to dive into our frozen stash. The jewel this week is frozen strawberries from Maurer's Fruit Farm. These will pair very nicely in a smoothie with some delicious Velvet View Yogurt or as a sauce to drizzle over pork chops, or even ice cream! Week 20 Summer CSA Package

Week 12 Summer CSA Package

Week 9 Summer CSA Package

This week is probably my favorite week so far this summer.  One of my favorite dishes is ratatouille, a provincial french dish/peasant food of stewed tomatoes and vegetables.  There are many variations of ratatouille and many "tips and tricks" along the way.  I'll share mine in this week's newsletter.   The centerpiece of this week's package are the ratatouille ingredients - garlic, eggplant, onions, zucchini/squash, and tomatoes.  In addition to those items, we have a few more healthy produce items, which may also be

Week 2 CSA

I hope everyone enjoyed their week 1 bag. We had a lot of fun on deliveries last week. Everything went extremely well. This week I'm quite excited for a few things. Week 2 Winter CSA Package

Winter CSA Week 1

For the first week of the winter CSA package we have have truly a showcase product - a beautiful, well marbled Berkshire Boston Butt Roast (bone-in, shoulder roast).  This tasty roast is between 5 and 6 lbs and great for shredded pork, a crock pot meal, to use in the smoker, or even to make sausage.  You'll be eating off of this for a week!
