Thanks for coming out!

Friday was the first of our Fresh Fork Market Happy Hour events.  It was held on Friday, at the Tremont Tap House.

We enjoyed seeing out customers in a low key environment, as well as meeting new people.  We unveiled our new Fresh Fork Market t-shirts, debuted our new videos, and just caught up with people.  It was a great way to just get to know some of you better.

The down side was that we did not really get a chance to talk about Fresh Fork Market much.  We wanted to thank everyone, give a short presentation on how the 2011 season ended up and when we were going for 2012.  We wanted to explain the program to new people and share with them how exciting our program can be.   Alas, the bar was just too crowded and too loud for that.  We did sell a few t-shirts, and they will be available for sale until they are gone.  We have more designs in the works, too.

Saturday we set up at Bizarre Bazaar.  This event could not have been more opposite.  We set up at one end and had plenty of room to grow.  The Saturday morning snowstorm kept some of the out of town vendors away, and quite a few of the usual customers.  The mellow room and large space meant that we were able to talk with each and every person that stopped by.  We were able to explain who we are and what we do to every person that stopped by.  It was a little slow, but overall a good day.

So, now that we have our first couple of events under our belt, we can adjust for the next ones.  If you could not make it out, or made it and couldn’t really even chat with us, be sure to mark your calendar for our next Happy Hour.  It will be at the Grovewood Tavern.  We are doing this one on a week night, and we will have more room and more quiet to talk.  You can find out more about us and what we do, make suggestions and just hang out.  For full details, including a map, check out Facebook.

For those of you who did make it, thanks for coming and we hope you will come to another Fresh Fork Market event!
